Myrto Tilianaki is Human Rights Watch's Senior Advocate for the Environment and Human Rights Division. Prior to joining Human Rights Watch, Myrto was the Climate Advocacy Officer for the French NGO CCFD – Terre Solidaire focusing on carbon offsetting and its impacts on the land sector and human rights. Myrto has previously worked in Advocacy and Communications at Human Rights Watch's UK office and in Press and Communications for Médecins sans Frontières. She holds a Master's degree in International Cooperation and Development Policies from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.
